Guest Speakers

On Tuesday, January 24th, several former HW Smith students will be joining Ms. Short's classes to discuss high school. Arij, Mohammed, Nickoy, Corey, and Marcus; all sophomores, will discuss their perceptions of high school before going and their realities after arriving. Eighth grade students will be free to dialogue with the students and learn about what it really takes to be a success in high school.

Project Work Time

Just a reminder that the Harlem Renaissance Project needs to be completed and in class on Thursday, January, 26th. Students will have two days next week, Monday and Wednesday, to continue work on the project.
