Answering a Blog Question

Earn a Homework Pass!

You can earn a homework pass when you come back from Spring Break by answering the question below before midnight on March 31st, 2013.  Be sure to leave your name with your response and be sure that your response is in complete sentences.

Question:  Describe what you can do over break to help prepare for the NYS ELA test on April 16th, 17th, and 18th.

Helping You Analyze Poetry

Having trouble analyzing poems in class or on your homework?  Take a look at this short video which breaks down the strategies to poetry analysis.  Although we have covered them in class, here is just another way to look at and utilize them in breaking down a poem.

Investigating Poetry

Analyzing poetry can be very difficult for students.  In an effort to help make the process easier, students can use the directions below to create a poetry road map.  The details in the road map can help students to answer questions later on.
