Looking Ahead

Students will continue their study of fiction particularly folktales by reading the short story, "Young Arthur." Students can get to know a little about King Arthur by watching the video below:

The Next Weekly Editorial

Students are asked to compare and contrast a successful student with an unsuccessful student. Students will brainstorm ideas using a Venn diagram and then organize their thoughts using our flow chart planner. The final editorial should be four paragraphs and include:
  • an introduction
  • body paragraph one
  • body paragraph two
  • conclusion
